JACOB ANDERTON – HAMLET

Jacob is an actor who studied in the north east and since graduating has worked up and down the country gaining extensive experience in both stage and screen performance. Recently Jacob has appeared at Live theatre, featured in a Batman film fan film that will premier at comic con in America this September as well as completing a tour with Alphabetti Theatre’s debut touring production, ‘The Frights’.

Last year, Jacob had the pleasure of playing ‘Macbeth’ and ‘Orlando’ with Theatre Space North East, he looks forward to the challenges of Hamlet.

KYLIE ANN FORD – OPHELIA

Kylie Ann Ford is a North East based Actor who has just completed intensive training on Northern Stage’s NORTH15 residency. She is thrilled to be back in the park with Theatre Space North East having previously played Corin/Audrey in As You Like It, Lady Macbeth in Macbeth and Ariel in The Tempest. Previous none TSNE theatre credits include; Ensemble – Cyrano De Bergerac (Northern Stage) Chorizo – Little Red Riding Hood, Storyteller – Wendy The Witch & The Haunted Mansion (The Customs House), Julie – Perfect Wedding (Ion Productions), Helena, Hippolita, Snug, Egeus, Fairy – A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Northumberland Theatre Company)

DALE JEWITT – CLAUDIUS

Dale Jewitt is singer and actor based in Newcastle Upon Tyne. He graduated from Northumbria University in 2012 with a BA (hons) in Performance. Since graduating Dale has worked with several theatre companies locally including the award winning November Club. Recent credits include, ’10 minutes to…’, Live Theatre; ‘Teeth in Eggcups’, Alphabetti Theatre; ‘Aladdin’ (touring), Beverley Artistes, ‘Gala 2014’, Nice Swan Theatre Company. Dale also performs with comedy sketch troupe ‘Teeth in Eggcups’. He is looking forward to working with Theatre Space North East again.

EILIDH TALMAN – GERTRUDE

Eilidh Talman is an actor, theatre-maker and workshop facilitator based in the North East but originally from the West Coast of Scotland. She performs in both theatre and film, working with local film companies such as Eighties Doubt, Meerkat, and Duffel Films. Recent theatre work includes performances at the Live Theatre (Coming Home Party), Alphabetti Theatre (Bus Pass) and Northern Stage where she performed her solo show A Haggis Queen Abroad (featuring at the Edinburgh Festival this year: 18th-22nd August @ Venue 39 theSpace on the Mile). Eilidh is pleased to be working with Theatre Space North East on such an exciting project.

THOMAS POTTS – LAERTES

Thomas Potts has lived in Sunderland all his life. He has studied Drama at Northumbria University. His theatre credits include Max Bialystock in The Producers at the Custom’s House, the Mad Hatter in the Sunderland Empire’s Alice in Wonderland, Henry VIII in the Royalty Theatre’s Anne Boleyn and Robert in the People’s Theatre’s They Shoot Horses, Don’t They. He is also a member of Compass A Cappella singing group, has worked as a teaching assistant at the Royalty Theatre Youth Academy and has an assistant role within local art company Eon Arts. He will be starring in White Poppies at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival this year.

LUKE MADDISON – Horatio

Luke is a 21 year old professional actor represented by Lime actors manchester.. He has a good range of experience in performance from touring theatre through to film and television Recent credits include Jimmy in North East musical “dance to your daddy” Eric in “And a nightingale sang” at the Middlesborough theatre aswell as appearing in his first TV role on Inspector George Gently earlier this year. This will be luke’s 6th run out in the Theatre space NE orange colours and he cannot wait to get started

ALEX GOODCHILD – MARCELLUS

Alex is a young actor who has been involved with Theatre Space for 2 years and became associated through the Royalty Theatre Youth Academy. In last year’s Plays in the Park, Alex was part of the crew for Macbeth, while taking part in King Arthur’s Adventures as Lancelot, and As You Like It as Jacques, Le Beau and William. This year he will be playing several roles in Hamlet, Squire Trelawny in Treasure Island and Sir Andrew in Twelfth Night, before going on to Northumbria University to study for a BA Hons in Performance.

DAVID FARN – FORTINBAS

David is normally in the garage making props, but when he is not doing that he writing
scripts, including The Big Picture for the Customs House, Oranges & Lemons for Cloud
9, and The Fickle Finger Of Fate for Dreambox. For Theatre Space NE he has written

King Arthur‘s Adventures and Treasure Island in which he appears as the fearsome Billy
Bones. Is there no end to his talents?

Sarah

 

SARAH BOLTER

Sarah is a North-East based actor and has recently performed in a number of shows at The Customs House with Made4Stage Theatre including Silly Simon the Sailor, Wendy the Witch, Santa’s naughty Elf and The Three Little Pigs. As well as playing the eponymous Anne Boleyn at The Westovians Pier Pavillion, she has just completed her role as Raven in ‘Waiting for Gateaux’ at The Customs House with Ion Productions.
Sarah is a huge fan of Shakespeare and has previously worked with Theatre Space NE as Juliet in a tour of Romeo and Juliet. She is thrilled to be back again and looking forward to performing in the park!

Lynne

LYNNE LAWSON

Lynne is very excited to be a part of her first Play in the Park season with Theatre Space N.E. as it combines two of her favourite things, Shakespeare and outdoor Theatre. She is going into the final year of a Performance degree at Teesside University and is really enjoying being a mature student and fulfilling her life time ambition of being an actor. Her recent performances include, Judith in ‘Bleeding Hearts’ in Less is More’s annual play festival and a munitions worker in ‘Homecoming’ with Periplum Theatre.
