CANCELLED: KING LEAR performance on Sunday 30th August 2026 (2pm only)

Regrettably we have taken the decision to cancel Sunday’s afternoon performance due to the clash with the Sunderland AFC footbal game - also at 2pm on Sunday - and the associated external noise, that will have a negative effect on audience experience/enjoyment of the performance.
Having spent time in the venue, we are unable to solve the problem sufficiently, so have taken the decision to cancel this performance in the hope that most ticketholders may be able arrange to attend other performances.

Apologies for the inconvenience - it really is not a decision we would have made if we feel we did not need to.
